3 STEPS TO BECOME A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

(1) Qualify for program enrollment

We are here to help you realize how your life experience can serve as currency toward a career as a Medical Assistant. 90 Day MA’s innovative approach, is designed to bridge the employment gap for financially disadvantaged populations.

(2) Earn while you learn

90 Day MA candidates qualify as full-time employees of Intermountain Health. This allows our candidates to earn while they learn. Program graduates will be able to demonstrate an entry-level understanding of anatomy, physiology and associated medical terminology. Demonstrate entry-level medical assisting skills and professionalism as expected by Intermountain Health.

(3) Complete paid apprenticeship

Candidates who complete a 90 Day MA qualify to begin a paid apprenticeship with Intermountain Health. Apprentices will develop patient care and administrative skills needed in a physician’s office or ambulatory care clinic.
